Department of Defense - Air Force Office of Scientific Research K-12 Aerospace-Based Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Mobile Teaching Vehicle Due September 30 (Aug 22) @

A 1-year effort of approximately $200,000 to an educational institution or non-profit organization that best demonstrates the capacity to develop a mobile STEM discovery center designed to increase students’ interest and learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on activities. No formal Request for Proposals (RFP) or other solicitation regarding this announcement will be made. Proposals will be reviewed on merit, with an eye toward expanding the approach to educating K-12 students on the rewarding benefits of STEM both in and outside the classroom.

Department of Education – Teacher Incentive Fund Center for Educator Effectiveness Due September 5 (Aug 23) @

The U.S. Department of Education (ED), Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE), Academic Improvement and Teacher Quality Group (AITQ) requires the services of a contractor to support a TIF Center for Educator Effectiveness. The Contractor shall:

  • Provide administrative support and technical expertise to OESE/AITQ staff; 
  • Support national activities designed to enhance public knowledge about and interest in the reform of human capital management systems and educator compensation; 
  • Develop and disseminate technical assistance materials and activities that support grantee efforts to adopt and implement policies supportive of increasing effective teaching practices through adoption of educator evaluation systems; 
  • Provide logistical planning for meetings; and 
  • Update and supplement the previous TIF-supported Website (cecr.ed.gov) to include new materials and revising existing materials, as needed.
