RobotsLAB is a finalist of Bammy! EdTech Awards.

robotsLABWASHINGTON, Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — The tired saying “think outside the box” is being defied by the Ed-Tech Company, www.RobotsLAB.com. Earlier this year the company released its RobotsLAB BOX: an educational tool dedicated to helping middle and high-school students learn mathematics using robots. With just over 6 month on the market, and with BOXes in over 240 schools, including some very prominent names like Johns Hopkins University, RobotsLAB has another honor to add to its list—A Bammy! Award nomination.

Nominated for the RobotsLAB BOX, the company is delighted to be recognized as a HOT teaching tool in this year’s awards. The RobotsLAB BOX is a revolutionary teaching-aid demonstrating Algebra, Physics, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus’ abstract concepts, using robots.

“Only 32% of highschoolers are proficient in math upon graduation and unfortunately 62% of entry-level jobs demand these skills,” said Elad Inbar, CEO of RobotsLAB. ”We’ve found students are much more excited to learn abstract concepts like Quadratic Equations when demonstrated using robots. The examples are relatable and they can see how the math applies to their world.”

Using the BOX’s included tablet Teachers can execute over 50 pre-loaded lessons and in-class quizzes.

“We made a product that’s near to our hearts and is unlike anything else in the Educational market; robots are the best engagement tool math classes have ever seen,” said Prof. Peter Stone leader of the teachers’ panel. “With educational technology playing an increasingly important role in the success and college-readiness of our children, we are honored by the acknowledgement of the Bammy! Awards.”

RobotsLAB have some hard competition in the teaching tools category including: Edmodo, Samsung and others.

The Bammy Awards will be held this Friday September 20 th in Washington D.C. where winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded.
